Art on the Avenue- volunteers needed! 4-7 PM The chapter will help out at the regional multicultural art and music festival. We will hand out programs to visitors, watch vendors' booths if the vendors need a bathroom or food break and help out with trash control in their assigned block. Around 5:45p.m. we will remind vendors in their blocks that tear down starts at 6 p.m. From 6-7 p.m.., we will patrol areas to make sure vendors are on schedule to be off the streets no later than 7:15 p.m. We may also need to help breakdown tables and stack chairs for the rental company to pick up. If a vendor needs help in breaking down or packing up, we may be asked to help. Last, but not least, we will help with trash pickup. After the event, it would be fun if we could grab dinner in Del Ray for fun and fellowship.WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR A CHAIRPERSON TO HELP LEAD THIS EVENT- IF INTERESTED PLEASE EMAIL DIANA.
