The Bentley Structural Team is traveling to 20 North American cities this summer to present complimentary, half-day technical seminars. Submit for a Be Inspired Award

Have you worked on an interesting project? Be recognized for your work. Was the project designed using the RAM Structural System or any Bentley software? Submit your project for consideration for one of the 10th annual Bentley Be Inspired Awards. Your project will be profiled in Bentley's The Year in Infrastructure, a publication distributed globally to more than 150,000 key media, government, and industry influencers. There are several categories, including Innovation in Structural Engineering. The three finalists in each category will win a trip to London to present their project at the Year In Infrastructure 2013 Conference. The deadline for submission is July 19, 2013. RAM Structural System V8i Release 14.05.03 is now Available

RAM Structural System V8i Release 14.05.03 is now available. This is a patch version, correcting some errors in Release 14.05.0x. Most of the errors were minor or obscure, occurring only for certain specific configurations. This version also includes some enhancements, including Shearwall Coupling Beam drawings, some increase in the size of models that can be analyzed, addition of the dynamic load cases to the load combination templates, among others. RAM Structural System V8i Release 14.05 is now Available

RAM Structural System V8i Release 14.05 is now available. It contains several significant enhancements. The RAM Frame interface has been entirely updated. Offset beams and columns. AISC 341-10 Seismic Provisions. ACI 318-11. ASCE 7-10 / IBC 2012. Diagonal reinforcement in shear wall coupling beams. Expanded integration with RAM Concept. ISM enhancements providing increased and improved interoperability with other Bentley products and with Revit. Click here to view the Release Notes.

ASCE 7, AISC 360, and the Direct Analysis Method in the RAM Structural System

RAM Frame contains several powerful features to assist in the analysis and design of steel members in conformance with the wind and seismic requirements of ASCE 7 and the Direct Analysis Method requirements of AISC 360. The requirements for ASCE 7-05, ASCE 7-10, AISC 360-05 and AISC 360-10 are referenced. The analysis requirements for these are not always compatible. RAM SBeam V5.01 is now Available!

RAM SBeam V5.01, an upgrade to the popular single beam design program (composite or noncomposite), is now available. This version now incorporates the design requirements of Australia AS 4100 (steel) and AS 2327.1 (composite), and the requirements of Amendment 1 of the British Standard BS 5950. An RSS feed window has also been added to enable important notifications of updates and events. It also includes some error corrections when launching RAM SBeam from the RAM Structural System and when designing CMC SMARTBEAM. Structural Synchronizer View for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch

Download the free app to view structural models on your iOS device. RAM Structural System models (and others) can be exported to ISM, which can then be published in the Structural Synchronizer (also a free application) for viewing in the Structural Synchronizer View app. Navigate, interrogate, and visualize. Create Customized Programs Using RAM DataAccess

RAM DataAccess is a set of functions that you can incorporate into your programs (including Excel spreadsheets) that enable you to access the information in a RAM Structural System model. You can also use these functions to modify model data.
