The all-new Stealth Model: NW-2000 Rugged PC provides the ultimate in mobile flexibility with the ability to quickly transform from a rugged notebook PC into a rugged Tablet PC in seconds. Stealth's versatile and full-featured ruggedized notebook/tablet computer was built to handle demanding environments in both indoor and outdoor/field applications. The NW-2000 rugged mobile machine meets Military Standard MIL-810F specifications providing for superior performance over commercial grade products. Stealth's Notebook Warrior is encapsulated in a magnesium alloy chassis with built-in weather protective doors for all I/O ports. The IP54 / NEMA13 environmental protection provides a degree of defense in adverse operating conditions with protection from lint, dust and the spraying of water.

The Back-Lit 86-Key keyboard allows for easy operation in dark environments with a simple on/off brightness control. Toronto, March, 2009 - Stealth.com Inc. (Stealth Computer) a leading ISO 9001 manufacturer of industrial rugged computers and peripherals has released their new Model TT-840, a rugged, environmentally sealed, LCD monitor with the ability to survive the demanding effects of harsh environments.

The Stealth model: TT-840 is an 8.4 inch sunlight readable LCD encapsulated in a rugged aluminum enclosure that has been sealed to IP68/NEMA 6P specifications. The high-performance LCD is totally water-tight, surviving liquid, dust and dirt intrusion and performs well beyond ordinary commercially available monitors. Stealth's rugged LCD will operate in extreme temperatures from minus 20 to plus 60 degrees centigrade, ideal for outdoor and intense weather conditions.

According to Stealth's CEO, Ed Boutilier; "by capitalizing on the latest in LED backlight technology the Stealth TT-840 rugged LCD features a vivid sunlight readable display with up to 1000 nits of brightness and a 600:1 contrast ratio making it ideal for outdoor or high ambient light conditions." Stealth's TT-840 rugged display is shipped standard with Infrared (Ir) touch screen technology which provides distinct advantages over other touch screen technologies. Stealth's model: LPC-450M Little PC operates with a 10-16VDC power input making it ideal for DC powered applications typically found in vehicles and remote applications.

Start-up Delay Timer - When the ignition/power key is turned ON, this setting delays the start up or turn-on time of the PC. This prevents any false power starts and properly ensures that power is 100% available and ready to go. User selectable timer delay settings are; 5, 10, 20, 40 seconds, 1, 2 and 4 minutes.

Shut-Down Delay Timer - At the time the ignition/power key is turned OFF, the PC could be performing an important task and potentially important data could be lost. The shut down delay timer feature ensures that a safe power down cycle is made by extending the power down time. User selectable settings are 3, 5 and 10 minutes.

Hardware shutdown - If for any reason the OS has experienced a problem shutting down the computer, the Stealth Mobile LittlePC has a built-in hardware shut down feature which will ensure the computer will safely shutdown preventing continuous load and draining the vehicles battery power.

Stealth Computer Quietly Expands Operations To Manage Growth

Stealth's current headquarters operates from within a 15,000 square feet facility and includes production, sales, corporate and administrative offices. The new adjoining building comprises of an additional 11,000 square feet expanding Stealth's total facility to just over 27,000 square feet in size.
