FKI Logistex will launch four major new products at CeMAT 2008. A ground-breaking new Case Conveyor and three next-generation high-speed Sortation Systems will each demonstrate their unique, industry-first features at CeMAT in Hall 27, on stand F43. A new benchmark for energy efficiency is established with two next-generation high-speed sortation systems. The new �greener� Tilt-Tray and Cross-Belt Sorters feature a new Linear Synchronous Motor (LSM) drive system which improves electrical efficiency and significantly reduces product lifecycle cost (PLCC), whilst ensuring easy induction into existing systems.

FKI Logistex Forms Global Service Team for International Parcel Accounts

FKI Logistex recently formed the Global Account Team to optimize service to its parcel customers internationally. The new team will provide comprehensive support at all stages of the material handling implementation process — from pre-sale support and design to system installation.

According to Ray Guasco, vice president of the Global Account Team, expansion into new global markets means significant shifts in automation deployment strategies for large parcel companies. "Global parcel companies are requiring greater involvement from material handling suppliers at the initial planning and design stages, not just the final installation phase," he said.
