Cowboys celebrate season with Awards

Firstly a big thank you to the Parkside Inn for hosting the Craigavon Cowboys Awards Night. It was a prefect way to round off a season that seen the Cowboys make it to the Shamrock Bowl semi-finals.

Craigavon wins Wildcard game.

The Craigavon Cowboys won the Wildcard game against IAFL North rivals Belfast Trojans by a score of 17-14 earlier this afternoon. They will travel to Limerick to face the UL Vikings in next weekends Shamrock Bowl semi-final.

Possibly the most exciting game to be played in the Irish American Football Leagues 2010 season took place at Carrickfergus Rugby Club on Sunday 13th June. As part of a double header, the Craigavon Cowboys played the Belfast Trojans in the early game, while Northern Division leaders, the Carrickfergus Knights, took on the Central Division second place team, the West Dublin Rhinos.
