<![CDATA[ABOUT HOUSING LAND ADVOCATES
The Housing Land Advocates (HLA), formerly known as the Oregon Alliance for Land Use and Affordable Housing (OALUAH), is a non-profit, volunteer-driven, advocacy organization dedicated to using land use planning and the law to address affordable housing conditions in Oregon. This is accomplished through legal representation and advocacy, technical assistance, and education on land use matters affecting affordable housing to local governments, interest groups, affordable housing providers, land use policy makers and planners. Formed in 2004 as OALUAH, HLA has focused on the enhancement and enforcement of land use, economic development and workforce policies to enable Oregon households of all income levels to be able to obtain adequate housing.]]>
