beWISE CommPort SOLUTION released

Edelwise, Inc. has released its first "beWISE SOLUTION" called CommPort. The solution provides easy access to the RS232 ports via beWISE VARIABLES. It is free of charge and comes with full source codes. It also includes sample VB6 and VB.NET programs that demonstrate the use the "CommPort SOLUTION".

The beWISE Inter-Process Communication Component from Edelwise, Inc. is Now Available for dotNET.

The latest product of Edelwise, Inc. provides software developers with all necessary tools to break down complex software projects into small, manageable applications, emphasizing the integration of legacy applications, parallel software development and the creation of scalable, distributed systems.

The beWISE product provides straight-forward interfaces for developers to share data among applications in real-time. VB.NET, VB6 and C programs can easily interchange data and events, allowing for instance the integration of existing (legacy) C or VB6 programs into new VB.NET projects by simply creating separate applications that interact.

Project managers can split large projects into multiple programs that are coded and tested independently by different development teams with different skills. This parallel development can speed up implementation time and reduce time to market for software products.

Working with beWISE does not require knowledge of IPC (Inter-Process Communication). All a developer has to do is add the beWISE DLL to his/her program and declare the beWISE variables. The variables can immediately be used to share data with other applications. Using beWISE is as simple as using global variables.

The beWISE product includes example source code and debugging tools for monitoring, logging and manipulating beWISE variables. Different beWISE versions are available, starting with the BASIC version for $24.95.
