The forum is now working on the website although I have yet to find a SMTP server so just ignore any errors about smtp that you recieve. It is a work in progress so please submit any bugs or errors that you come across.

Faulty email server changed contacts email address

I have changed the contacts page to use a googlemail email address as I wasn't receiving any of the mail at the previous addresses due to a problem with the host. The new email address has been tested and functions fine. If anybody has sent any emails to the old address I probably haven't got them so it would be great if you can resend them to flashphysics@googlemail.com. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Unique hit counter and RSS php script update

I've updated the RSS script to work properly with this time zone as well as displaying the time and date properly. I have also went back to the drawing board with the site counter and I have wrote a unique visitor counter to get a better idea of how many people are visiting the website.

Web Counter Added and Layout Tweaks

A webcounter has been added to the site from http://www.fastwebcounter.com which serves the purposes of the website fine. A few tweaks were also required to the layout of the site and the html script. I hope to update the about page in the coming days and possibly add a forum. I also wish to run this RSS feed using a local PHP script but I'm not having much success so far.

Added Infomation to simulations

I have added a description and some infomation to each flash simulation on the website these are fairly brief and could go into more depth about the website but they will do as a starting point.

Updated Slinky Simulation

The slinky simulation has been adjusted to stop it from exploding under certain conditions. Also tooltip style descriptions have been added to the thumbnails to complement the pictures.

News RSS feed now functional

I've added the RSS feed to the news page of the site which I will update as any progress is made on making the site and if any of the physics demos on the website are changed or updated. Also I've added a contacts page and a new placeholder for the about html page.

Site Opened

I have uploaded the site and it is now available to the public but it still needs some more testing and a few of the menu links are still dead.
