Jesus warns that the level of expectation with which you hear His Living Word, determines the benefit which you will derive from it. "With the measure you measure, it will be measured to you again". Deliberately increasing your sense of expectation when reading the Word or hearing it preached or taught will set that Word inside your spirit like a seed planted into the ground -- and in its due season, it will bring rich, spiritual harvests.

Freedom and Obligation in the Church

Paul warns Believers to never give up the Freedom that Jesus secured for us by dying on the Cross. But most of Christendom is built on making people feel obligated to support religious institutions, organizations and traditions. But we must remain faithful to living as the Spirit of Christ leads us. But fostering even a tiny amount of legalism in our lives will eventually strip from us all Freedom in Christ and leave us hopelessly struggling in our own flesh, even as we did before hearing the Good News of the Kingdom of God. The Wind in the Garden

Redefining the Church's One Foundation

Will He Find Faith?
